On 26 June, 2019, Prof. Eric Chassignet from Florida State University, USA gave lectures on the high resolution coupled modeling and the impact of eddies on air sea interactions. He introduced the dynamics and impacts of eddies in a global scale, highlighting the importance and applications of these studies. He also talked about the importance of numerical modelling in issues such as forecasting marine debris pathways.
